I love a busy summer in Real Estate in the High Country! After returning from vacation the end of May, I’ve sold 3 houses, in what had been the slowest market we’d seen in many years in the High Country of North Carolina! (That’s why there have been no recent posts here…I’ve been busy!)
Since that time–the beginning of June 2009–The Blowing Rock real estate and Boone NC Real Estate markets have seen 79 homes closed, and 95 more have gotten under contract! [By comparison, in March only 39 homes closed in the Boone NC Real Estate market.]
Just a few days ago, one of my listed Boone Homes For Sale received two offers on the same day! My sellers are happy to be under contract…and are looking forward to a successful closing!
I hope the rest of the U.S. is seeing the increase in activity that the Blowing Rock NC Real Estate market and the Boone NC Real Estate markets are both seeing, along with the surrounding areas.
The Blowing Rock NC Homes for Sale in particular seem to have an increased activity level. Of the homes sold (under contract) in the last 30 days, 21% are in the area noted as Blowing Rock NC Real Estate For Sale, whereas only 6.5% of the ACTIVE listings are in the same category.
